SUBSTANCE: fuel filter includes housing (2) made in the form of a bowl, cover plate (20) connected to housing (2), inlet and outlet branch pipes (14, 25) installed radially offset relative to central axis of filter housing (2), and annular filter element (3) installed in inner part of housing (2) and containing filtering medium (7). Inner part of housing (2) is divided into coarse and fine cleaning chambers (8; 24) and water receiving chamber (11), which is located in lower part of housing (2) and separated from coarse and fine cleaning chambers (8; 24). Fuel feed channel (13) is connected to inlet branch pipe (14), which is located partially in annular filter element (3), in its centre, in the part that is free from filtering medium, and made in bar (1). Cover plate (20) includes a central hole and is of a double type so that free inner space of cover plate (20) is formed. Bar (1) is installed with a seal in a detachable manner in central hole of cover plate (20). Free inner space of cover plate (20) forms attachment space (15) between inlet branch pipe (14) and fuel feed channel (13) inside annular filter element (3). Fuel filter housing design is described.

EFFECT: easier separation of the bar from other filter elements at replacement of a filter element.
