SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for cytotoxicity test for poorly soluble occupational dusts involving the incubation of human erythrocytes with equal doses of various dusts, the oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) measurements recording in a standard aqueous solution where a cytotoxicity measure by the action of a given dose of dust on the erythrocyte culture is a percentage gain of an average incubation ORP in activated reference water as compared with an average ORP in activated reference water by the action of the dust-free control erythrocyte suspension.

EFFECT: method substantially simplifies the cytotoxicity test for poorly soluble dust, and enables assessing the process dynamics that develops as a result of the reaction of the erythrocyte membrane and dust particles.
