FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: plug assembly has rod with base, head and mechanism to secure plug rod base to plug head. Said mechanism comprises, at least, two retainers. The latter are arranged around plug rod and head to allow fixed location there between. Connector joints said two retainers together at every end of said two retainers. Note here that said connector nearby said ends is opened owing to clearance between said ends. Besides, this invention covers the method of replacing or securing plug head to plug rod and version of plug assembly.
EFFECT: in-situ assembly and replacement.
