FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely psychotherapy, and can find application as a method for correction of neurotic and psychosomatic disorders accompanying rehabilitation of extreme professions. An individual is exposed to a music therapy followed by autogenic exposure. In the beginning and at the end of the medical and psychological therapeutic course, the individual's mental and emotional state is assessed. For 10÷14 days, the drug therapy is applied daily twice a day by the oral administration of the preparation Mexidol in a dose of 125 mg if observing the disorders of a moderate severity, and in a dose of 250 mg if observing the severe disorders; it is combined with the receptive music therapy and the autogenic exposure for 30÷30 minutes preceded by a tea ceremony for 7÷10 minutes.
EFFECT: method enables improving the effectiveness of the medical and psychological interventions to restore the mental and emotional state, the compensatory and adaptive reserves of the individual in the extreme conditions, as well as reducing the risk of post-traumatic stress disorder.
