FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, in particular to manual devices generating a gas-aerosol mixture of combustion inhibitors, designed for the primary suppression of fire foci by a directed flow of extinguishing mixture. The manual generator of the extinguishing aerosol consists of a tubular handle housing with a lid, a piece of pyrotechnic composition of the extinguishing aerosol, a grater primer-igniter with a grater and a perforated diaphragm located inside the handle housing. The grating primer-igniter is installed in a guide tube mounted on the perforated diaphragm, the perforation windows of which are blocked by a metal mesh, and the annular space between the checker, the handle body and the diaphragm is filled with tablets of an easily gasifying substance, ammonium oxalate, whose decomposition products have a fire extinguishing effect. The gap between the tube cut and the block is at least 1/4 of the inner cavity of the handle housing, and the distance from the diaphragm to the body cut is at least 1/2 of the inner diameter of this housing.
EFFECT: ensuring a low temperature of the combustion products at the output of the generator while maintaining high fire extinguishing efficiency.
