SUBSTANCE: method involves: A) a step (E1) for measuring the count rate of deposits of fissile material of known effective masses to form a matrix [C]0; B) a step (E2) for measuring the count rate of the deposits of fissile material to form a matrix [C]; and C) a step (E3) for calculating the effective masses to be determined in the form of a matrix [m] such that: [m]=[C].I([a]×([a]0-1×[m]0-1×[C]0)), the matrix [a] being a known matrix of the isotopic analyses of the deposits of fissile material of effective masses to be determined, the matrix [a]0-1 being the inverse matrix of a known matrix [a]0 of the isotopic analyses, which corresponds to the deposits of fissile material of known effective masses, and the matrix [m]0-1 being an inverse matrix of a known matrix [m]0, the coefficients of which are the known effective masses.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining effective mass of a fissile isotope.
