FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to poultry farming and can be used at poultry farms for amputation of wings of one-two day old chickens, ducklings, turkey-poults, etc. Device for amputation of wings of poultry contains source of laser irradiation for amputation and focusing lens, frame with means for fixation with slit, slit width being larger than bird wing thickness and smaller than thickness of operator's finger. Means for wing fixation is formed by metal body with slit for fixation and movement of wings and first and second plates. Plates are located on side surfaces of metal body and are rigidly connected with bolt, made with thickening. In metal body perpendicular to slit made are rectangular chink channel with nozzle on the end, coming out on metal body surface in the place of slit location, and cylindrical channel with socket, located under slit and perpendicular to it with possibility of connection to system of air pumping. Bolt with thickening is located in cylindrical channel with possibility of closing segments of chink and cylindrical channels with thickened part. In the second plate hole for introduction of laser irradiation through chink rectangular channel to slit is made. Focusing lens is installed in said hole in such a way that distance from the centre of focusing lens to slit equals focus distance of focusing lens. Source of laser irradiation is installed before the second plate.
EFFECT: invention ensures increase of process productivity, device reliability with simultaneous reduction of trauma and increase of quality of process of wing amputation in poultry due to forced removal of smoke from laser beam trajectory, as well as visual control over amputation process.
