FIELD: cattle breeding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to poultry farming and can be used to amputate the wings of one- and two-day-old chickens, ducklings, turkeys, etc. Device for amputation of wings contains a source of laser radiation, focusing lens, a frame with a means for fixing the wings, made in the form of a metal body with a slot for fixing and moving the wings, a plate bolted to the side surfaces of the metal body, a rectangular slotted channel with a nozzle at the end emerging on the surface of the body at the location of the slit channel made perpendicular to the slot and emerging into a cylindrical channel located under the slot and connected to the pump, the bolt being coaxial with it in the cylindrical channel. Between the plate and the metal body is placed a gasket made of a material having damping properties, while a plate is connected to the pump in the plate. Focusing lens is installed inside the channel in such a way that its axis is perpendicular to the channel axis.
EFFECT: process productivity and the reliability of the device are improved by focusing the laser beam precisely onto the slot, cooling and cleaning the working surfaces of the focusing lens from the dirt.
