FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to medicine and can be used by ambulance and emergency medical service for fixation of upper and lower extremities and neck of injured people. Transport immobilising collapsible splint contains base from sheet waterproof material. Base of splint for lower extremity contains support for shin and support for foot, made in form of a single plate from low-pressure polyolefin-polyethylene. Longitudinal and transverse guides for modelling splint dimensions in width and length are made in form of successive chain of perforations. To fold splint in length during transportation transverse guides in form of perforation are made on plate surface, to fix splint in working position, in the region of connection of support for shin and support for foot of splint, on plate made are transverse cuts, on both sides of which from each side made are paired holes with guides, in which fixers are placed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce time consumption for preparation of splint for use to minimum, increase efficiency and convenience of application of claimed splint in wide medical practice, increase durability and service term of transport immobilising splint, use claimed splint construction repeatedly and efficiently.
