FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: in device for cooling, humidification and purification of blast furnace gas, an injector is of swirl-type and comprises a casing with a swirling chamber and a nozzle. The casing is made as a feeding connecting pipe with central hole and a coaxial cylindrical sleeve rigidly fixed to it and fitted by internal thread, and an expansion chamber coaxial to the casing. The nozzle made as an inverted barrel is attached to the sleeve by the thread coaxially to the casing in its lower part. A fluid flow swirler is made in the barrel bottom and is fitted by at least two cylindrical inlets inclined to the nozzle axis and made in the nozzle end surface. The central cylindrical orifice hole is provided in the end surface of the nozzle. The orifice hole is connected with the nozzle's mixing chamber communicated in its turn with the diffuser outlet chamber.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of gas purification from dust and chemical impurities.
