FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making the emulsions and suspensions in hydrodynamic cavitation field, in particular, in preparation of boiler fuel or water-oil mix for combustion of boilers or other similar plants and may be used petrochemical chemical, food, pulp-and-paper industries, etc. Proposed method consists in cavitation treatment of water-fuel mix in hydrodynamic cavitation reactor, fuel is forced through flow section of said reactor while water is fed into fuel cavitation zone in reactor flow chamber. Reactor flow chamber is a flat structure while cavitators are composed of transverse rods arranged in two lines. Cavitators in line, the first in fuel flow direction, are composed of tubes communicated with water supply pipelines. Every said tube has cavitation hole made in fuel cavitation zone, in fuel flow direction.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
