FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing fusel oils from distilleries through distillation thereof. The method is characterised by that fusel oils undergo pre-dehydration by distillation with a low-boiling hydrocarbon solvent which forms an azeotropic mixture with water, followed by fractionation thereof into final products, wherein the low-boiling hydrocarbon solvent used is n-hexane in amount of 0.03-0.07 m3 per 1 m3 of fusel oils.
EFFECT: disclosed method provides a technology of processing fusel oils which enables full utilisation of all components contained therein.
