FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: in a thermoelectric module, the space enclosed between inner surfaces of heat exchange plates is filled with waterproof heat insulating coating that is inert to materials of elements of the thermoelectric module, with heat conductivity equal to and less than 0.001 W/m·K to volume V, where Vmin is restricted with outer surfaces of peripheral branches of peripheral rows of thermal elements of a thermoelectric module and end surfaces of heat exchange plates, and Vmax is restricted with inner surfaces of heat exchange plates of hot and cold joints, switching buses and end surfaces of heat exchange plates. Technical result of the invention is increase in maximum temperature difference of cold and hot joints at the module hot side temperature of Thot=27°C and increase in maximum cooling capacity.
EFFECT: avoiding heat transfer due to emission, heat conductivity and convection through air between the plates of cold and hot joints.
