FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method where the splitting of a sample into separate components takes place in a capillary column with a sorbent under the action of the upward flow of the liquid mobile phase whose flow rate is controlled by a flow activator with a vacuum pump at the outlet of the column, and the analysed sample is fed into the eluent stream at the inlet of the column. Also disclosed is an apparatus having a capillary column filled with a sorbent and a feeder for feeding the sample into the eluent stream at the inlet of the column.
EFFECT: high efficiency of separation, accuracy of analysis results and shorter analysis time.
