FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determination of amount of synthetic food colorant carmoisine (azorubine, E 122) in juices. For this purpose, the amount of carmoisine in juices is determined by the method of microcolonium high-performance liquid chromatography with multichannel UV spectrophotometric detection. Sample is chromatographed in acetonitrile gradient in water solution of 0.05 M LiClO4 from 0 to 100 %. Calculation of carmoisine concentration in juices is carried out by external standard in the range of concentrations from 8.5 10-4 to 1.0 10-2 mg/ml.
EFFECT: invention provides selective and sensitive method of determining amounts of carmoisine in juices.
