FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method, wherein separation of a sample into separate components takes place in a capillary column with a sorbent under pressure of an ascending stream of a liquid mobile phase, the flow rate of which is controlled by varying excess pressure of an inert gas at the inlet of the column. The apparatus has a capillary column filled with a sorbent, a container with an inert gas at excess pressure, connected to the outlet of the capillary column and by a controlled fluidic resistor to a discharge line.
EFFECT: high efficiency of separation and accuracy of analysis results.
