FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to neurology. Functional magnetic-resonance tomography (fMRT) is performed in 3D-T1 mode at the background of imitation of complex motor act - "slow walking". Zone of sensomotor cortex activation are determined: primary cortex - primary sensor and motor cortex (SM1), secondary zone - additional motor cortex (SMA), premotor cortex (PMC), inferior parietal lobe (IPL) and tertiary zone - dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC). Volume of activation zones is calculated in acute period, on 21-st day, in rehabilitation period in 2-12 months and in residual - period more than one year. Depending on observed impairments and volume of said cortex zones, in each of observed periods, recovery mechanisms of disturbed motor act of healthy and affected brain hemispheres.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to estimate functional changes of sensomotor brain cortex in the process of rehabilitation.
