SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to pediatric surgery, pediatric urology and can be used for differential diagnostics of normal and reduced contractile function of ureter in case of congenital non-refluxing megaureter in children. Level of matrix metalloproteinase-9 in urine of child with congenital non-refluxing megaureter is determined. On the basis of obtained values state of contractile function of ureter is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to carry out differential diagnostics of normal and reduced contractile function of ureter in case of congenital non-refluxing megaureter in non-invasive, safe for patient way, which makes it preferable for application in diagnostics of disorders of contractile function of ureter, especially in newborn babies and infants.
