FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to ultrasonic diagnostics, and can be applied in differential diagnostics of organic and functional pathology of fetus ureterovesical junction. During week 30-38 of gestation, ultrasonic scanning of fetal urinary system with superior urinary tract dilation signs is performed. Diuretic test is used, involving polypositive scanning consisting of lengthwise and transverse scan series of urinary system, superior urinary tract size is measured in natural filled and empty state. After water load, 20 mg of 1% furosemide solution is administered to the pregnant intramuscularly. Ultrasonic scanning or fetal urinary system is repeated 4 times over 15 minute intervals. If superior urinary tract dilation increase by 50-80% against original size is detected and remains for more than one hour then organic pathology of ureterovesical junction is diagnosed. If superior urinary tract dilation increases by 20-25% and returns to the original size within 30-40 minutes then functional pathology of ureterovesical junction is diagnosed.
EFFECT: early differential diagnostics of organic and functional pathology of fetal ureterovesical junction.
