FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular, to sections of general surgery, orthopedics, traumatology and can be applied in primary and repeated (plastic) amputations of lower extremity at hip and shin level irrespective of disease or trauma, which resulted in operation. Proline mesh implant for formation of lower extremity stump without tissue tension in case of shin and hip-level amputation consists of cylindrical part with diameter 30 mm, intended for fixation to bonesaw line and flat round base with diameter 120 mm, intended for fixation of muscles and fascia. Cylinder is fixed to base with proline threads.

EFFECT: invention provides total drainage of all stump layers due to hydrophilism and large mesh cell, elimination of probability of clavate stump, stumps with excessive or insufficient muscular massive and preservation of implant orientation by the axis of the largest load of truncated limb, which in delayed postoperative period will ensure flat supportable endurable surface on butt end of stump.
