FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular, to general surgery, orthopedics, traumatology and can be applied in primary and repeated (plastic) amputations of lower extremity at hip level. Essence of method consists in formation of hip stump with application of prolene mesh. Mesh is laid and fixed to muscle massive of hip stump by separate and "П"-shaped sutures on circumference without tightening with implant orientation on the centre of bone-saw line. Fascial plap is fixed with separate interrupted sutures to muscles or mesh without tightening. After that, skin flap is applied.

EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to improve operation results, life quality of patients who underwent hip level amputation, facilitates adequate and total stump drainage in early post-operational period.
