FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adjustable-stroke setup tool, in particular, for dive rivet nuts. Proposed tool comprises body accommodating axially moving pull rod. Stroke adjustment is performed with the help of thrust element to be screwed in said body. Thrust element has, at least, one area with contour shaped to regular polygon. Besides, it comprises retainer to displace between position of locking and that of adjustment. Said retainer may follow the path of apices of polygon in locking position and get out of it in adjustment position.
EFFECT: reliable position of thrust element inside body.
