SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a semi-finished product used to mould part of a composite, which has at least one dry laminar reinforced layer (2,3,4,5), which is designed to be impregnated by injection/infusion by a liquid using an impregnation matrix, at least locally, one thermoplastic layer (6) and a thread which consists of a thermoplastic material whose melting point is higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic layer (6). The thermoplastic layer has a perforation and is stitched to at least one reinforced layer (2,3,4,5) using at least one thread passing through the perforation of the thermoplastic layer and through at least one reinforced layer.
EFFECT: optimisation of mechanical and fire retardant properties of parts of the composite.
