FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of oil-containing waste water and can be used to extract different impurities therefrom, for example oil products. The apparatus has a reservoir, preferably cylindrical, which is configured to maintain pressure higher than atmospheric pressure inside, a channel which connects the inside of the reservoir with a source of oil-containing waste water and a nozzle extension whose outlet lies higher than the level of oil-containing waste water in the reservoir lying on its vertical axis. The nozzle extension is in form of a cylinder bushing, the lower opening of which is linked to a source of compressed air and the top opening opens to the cover of the reservoir. The nozzle extension is configured to eject oil-containing waste water, for which the outlet opening of the channel which connects the inside of the reservoir with the source of waste water, opens into the inside of the nozzle extension. A gas pressure controller is fitted in the cover of the reservoir. To prevent the liquid phase from falling into the gas flow controller, the reservoir is equipped with a mist extractor which is fitted with drainage tubes to remove liquid accumulated therein. The reservoir is also equipped with a droplet-forming ring lug which prevents the sprayed liquid from dripping on the walls of the reservoir. At the bottom of the reservoir, there is a pipe for removing saturated liquid.

EFFECT: high degree of saturation of oil-containing waste water with air due to the volume of air absorbed by the purified oil-containing liquid when sprayed through a nozzle extension.
