FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in waste water treatment. The method for aeration of oil-containing waste water involves facilitating interaction of waste water with a volume of air at pressure higher than atmospheric pressure in a reservoir (1) through a nozzle extension (3). Oil-containing waste water is ejected by a jet of compressed air into the nozzle extension (3) which is in form of a cylinder bushing whose bottom opening is linked to a source (6) of compressed air and the top (7) opening is open to the cover of the reservoir (1). The jet of compressed air is then used for spraying in the volume of air which is at pressure higher than atmospheric pressure to form a spray cone from bottom up.
EFFECT: invention enables to carry out instant aeration of a given volume of an oil-containing liquid.
