FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gear wheel consists of body 1 and rim with teeth 2 provided with lubricant retainers composed of flanges 4 arranged along lateral surfaces 3, at tooth ends. Width of said flanges increases from tooth root 5 to its top 6 in drive gear wheel. Width of said flanges increases from tooth root 5 to its top 6 in driven gear wheel.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance, optimised lubing.
