FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: gear consists of body (1), gear rim with teeth (2) with grease-containing pockets in the form of platforms (5) arranged along side surfaces (3) at end faces (4) of the teeth. The attachment of platforms (5) to the teeth is shifted towards axis of the teeth by a value of maximum wear of the side surfaces. Platforms (5) are installed with inclination at the sharp angle towards these surfaces.

EFFECT: ensuring serviceability of the gear in the course of wearing its teeth.
