SUBSTANCE: system has a light source, an element which sets the position of the reading surface, an optical system, a multi-element image receiver, electronic memory and a processing device, wherein the output electronic image of the system is associated, through combination in the processing device, with at least two intermediate images of lower resolution, which are associated with the optical image of the reading surface, the spectral composition of which is different for different intermediate images, wherein the position of elements of the optical image on the receiving surface of the image receiver is different for different spectral compositions of radiation.
EFFECT: high reliability, high image quality, small dimensions, faster operation and low power consumption of the system for recording papillary patterns.
