FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, particularly biometry. A papillary picture recording system comprises a source and a multielement optical detector. The optical detector is connected with an electronic image memory and a processing unit. In the electronic memory, an output image of the system is electrically connected at least with two intermediate images by average mixing of the intensity values in the processing unit between the elements of the intermediate values related in the various intermediate values to the same range on the read-out surface, and assignment of the derived intensity value to the related element of the output image. Each of the intermediate images is electrically connected with light sensors of the optical detector which are optically connected with the light source and the papillary picture read-out surface through the image formed by the optical system for the papillary picture read-out surface. Within the spectral sensitivity range of the optical detector, total radiation flux at wave lengths less than a borderline wave length L not less than five time more than total spurious radiation flux at wave lengths more than L.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables higher quality of the formed image.
