FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, radiodiagnostics and can be sued in estimation of bone state after distractional elongation of extremities. Computer tomography is carried out, zones of interest are chosen, axial cuts are obtained, density of bone sections is determined in Hounsfield units, is compared with density of the same sections before elongation. Zone of interest is established within 0.3-1.0 cm more distally and proximally than the boundary of formed bone regenerate section. Average value of density of cortical plate of proximal and distal zones of interest is determined on one of axial cuts in said interval by the results of measurement in minimum three points, located on opposite sides of bone. If it is reduced by less than 40% in comparison with density, determined in the similar way on the same section of bone before treatment, conclusion about presence of moderate resorption is made. In case of 50-60% reduction - about resorption of medium severity, in case of reduction by more than 60% - about expressed cortical plate resoption.
EFFECT: method ensures increase of accuracy and objectivity of evaluation of degree of cortical plate resorption after distractional elongation of extremity.
