TRANSDERMAL THERAPEUTIC SYSTEM FOR ADMINISTERING ACTIVE SUBSTANCE BUPRENORPHINE Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A61K31/4748 A61P25/04

Abstract RU 2484822 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine, namely to therapy, and concerns a transdermal therapeutic system for administering the active substance buprenorphine. The transdermal therapeutic system comprises an outer layer impermeable for the active substance, a matrix layer of polysiloxanes or polyisobutylene containing the active substance buprenorphine, and at least one carboxylic acid, and a protective layer removable before use.

EFFECT: invention provides more complete and uniform digestion of the active substance due to the fact that buprenorphine dissolved in carboxylic acid; its drops are dispersed in the matrix layer, while the matrix layer is found in the diffuse reaction with a self-adhesive layer in contact with skin.
