FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for the purpose of the assessment of the water state in living animal tissues, two identical dielectric reservoirs are placed into measuring L-cells; one reservoir is filled with physiological saline in an amount equal to the water volume in animal cells, and a tested animal is placed into another reservoir; a water state characteristics comprises the values Kν and Kδ describing the difference of the average body water volume in tissues and the water volume in physiological saline. Kν is derived from the frequency relation νmax if showing the maxima tgδ of physiological saline in the water volume and the tested animal, while Kδ is shown by the tgδ relation of the tested animal at frequencies 50 kHz and 20 MHz if observing residual water in vertebrate animal tissues and physiological saline in the water volume.
EFFECT: obtaining water property data in living animal tissues that are important for different areas of physics, biophysics, and human ecology.
