FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to tube forming from pellets of magnesium alloys used in defense industries. Magnesium pellets are filled in container for them to be cold formed by semicontinuous process at intensive shear stress at reduction factor of 1.25-1.7. Produced bar is subjected to forming and piercing.
EFFECT: tube with high gas saturation and mechanical properties.
