SUBSTANCE: method to desensitise double-base ball powder includes preparation of the first deterrent emulsion by mixing of the deterrent - α,ω-dimetacryl-(bis-triethyleneglycol) phthalate (MGF-9) in the amount of 4.0-7.0 wt % relative to 1 wt part of powder with water in presence of leather glue; preparation of the powder suspension in the reactor with the mixing device; introduction of the first deterrent emulsion at 78-80°C into the powder suspension and mixing of the powder for 55-60 minutes at 78-80°C. Then at the same temperature they introduce the second emulsion containing 3.0-6.0 wt % of MGF-9 relative to 1 wt part of powder and 0.5-0.6 wt % of benzoyl peroxide (BP) relative to 1 wt part of MGF-9, and mixed with powder for 60-65 minutes at 78-80°C.

EFFECT: stability of a desensitised area of ball powder.
