FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method is carried out over average contact time of 0.05-15 s, wherein before reaction, primary aromatic diamines and phosgene are separately heated to temperature of 200-600°C. The method is characterised by that the primary aromatic diamines used contain a total of at least 0.05 mol. % aliphatic amines, which do not contain ketone groups, per mole of primary amine groups.
EFFECT: method enables to avoid formation of undesirable solid substances and related clogging of equipment.
