FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of continuous obtaining diisocyanates by interaction of respective primary diamines with phosgene in gas phase in presence of at least one inert substance. Method is characterised by the following: phosgene-containing flow and flow containing primary diamine and inert substance are supplied into reactor, molar ratio of inert substance and amino groups in said flow (i) constantly constitutes >0 and <45 mol % and (ii) within time interval, constituting 20 min changes by not more than 99% relative to the time moment at the beginning of said 20 min time interval.
EFFECT: claimed method makes it possible to reduce formation of byproducts and solid deposits in the process of obtaining diisocyanates.
