FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed are novel phenol-organosiloxanes containing a phthalimidine structure of general formula (I) 
where R is a siloxane substitute. Also disclosed is a method for production thereof by reacting 2-allyl-3,3-bis-(4-oxyphenyl)phthalimidine with corresponding hydride siloxanes in organic solvents with molar ratio of reactants of (1-8.8):( 1-1.1), respectively, under the action of a platinum catalyst (1-50 mg per 1 kg reaction mixture) at temperature of 70-90°C, followed by distillation of the solvent at 90°C and residual pressure of 2 mmHg.
EFFECT: disclosed compounds can be obtained using a technologically simple method from readily available material and can be used as starting compounds for synthesis of organosilicon copolymers of different structures, and as modifiers for different polymers.
