FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for evaluating the effects of chemical agents involving the study of a biological material, characterised by the fact that petrochemical and chemical workers' peripheral blood serum is examined spectrophotometrically for catalase activity, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and the quantitative content of lipid peroxides; decreasing activity of catalase, increasing activity of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and quantification of lipid peroxides are used to diagnose a combination effect of a mixture of aromatic hydrocarbons and olefin oxides; increasing activity of alanine aminotransferase and quantitative content of lipid peroxides enables diagnosing the combined effects of olefin oxides. Increasing the quantitative content of lipid peroxides is used to diagnose the combined effect of aromatic hydrocarbons.
EFFECT: obtaining diagnostic criteria for the combined effect on aromatic hydrocarbons, olefin oxides and mixtures thereof on petrochemical and chemical workers.
