SUBSTANCE: substance of the method for assessing the body detoxification function in chemical workers involves determining superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase activities in hemolysates, the glutathione reductase activity in erythrocytes; the body detoxification function (DF) is calculated by formula. If the DF value is more than 563 unit/g Hg, a worker's compensated detoxification malfunction requiring drug-induced correction is detected; if the DF value is less than 378 unit/g Hg, the body decompensated detoxification malfunction requiring a profound in-hospital examination for the purpose of early diagnosing of the pathology is detected.
EFFECT: more accurate assessment of the body detoxification function in chemical workers.
