SUBSTANCE: device for data compression-decompression comprising a transmitting side and a receiving side, which additionally comprises: an L-digit input register of the transmitting part, an L-digit output register of the receiving part, an [L+1]-digit output register of the transmitting part, an [L+1]-digit input register of the receiving part, a digital switchboard and a digital processor with memory; an information input of the digital processor via the digital switchboard is connected to outputs of the L-digit input register of the transmitting part and the [L+1]-digit input register of the receiving part, the information output of the digital processor via the digital switchboard is connected to inputs of the [L+1]-digit output register of the transmitting part and the L-digit output register of the receiving part, the control input of the digital switchboard is connected to the control output of the digital processor.

EFFECT: simplified calculations due to absence of procedures of multiple multiplication and analogue-to-digital operations.
