FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery and transplantology, cell technology and bioengineering, and may be used for reconstruction of the anatomically ruptured spinal cord. That is ensured by implanting cells being parts of a collagen-chitosan matrix containing either a conditioned combined DME medium consisting of two media prepared by cell culture of rat embryo's brain tissue and mouse embryo's stem cells, or a conditioned DMA medium prepared by cell culture of mouse embryo's stem cells only in the presence of neuronal N2 and B27 additives and retinoic acid, into the spinal diastasis. Immediately before the implantation, the cell matrix is placed in a synthetic DME/F12 medium. Besides, the collagen-chitosan matrix contains the complex of polysaccharides with nano-microstructured components including chitosan ascorbate of molecular weight 695 kDa and a degree of deacetylation of 98% with ascorbic acid 1.8 g, chondroitin sulphuric acid 20 mg, hyaluronic acid 10 mg and heparin 5 mg or salt derivatives thereof per 1 g of dry chitosan.
EFFECT: method enables the adequate restoration of the morphological and functional spinal integrity following a partial or complete anatomical rupture.
