SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment and a pharmaceutical composition used in treating a neurological disease or condition in a subject, to preventing loss of neurons in the central nervous system (CNS) of a subject, to stimulate growth and recovery of neurons in the CNS of a subject and to increase expression of at least one of the following in the CNS subject: dopamine- and cAMP-regulated neuronal phosphoprotein (DARPP-32), dopamine receptor D2 and neurotrophic cerebral factor (BDNF). Methods include systemic administration to a subject of a pharmaceutical composition containing immature stem cells of human tooth pulp (hIDPSC), wherein hIDPSC express a cerebral neurotrophic factor (BDNF), dopamine- and cAMP-regulated neuronal phosphoprotein (DARPP-32), CD44 and CD13.
