FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises fuel tank, electrically driven pump, pressure gage, hydraulic control valve, delivery and drain fuel lines, stop-watch, nozzle (of high-pressure line) and hydropneumatic accumulator. Said hydraulic control valve is arranged between hydropneumatic accumulator so that with idle hydraulic control valve electrically driven pump is cut on while drain pipeline is shutoff to feed fuel from tank by pump into hydropneumatic accumulator to compress air to initial pressure controlled by pressure gage. With operating hydraulic control valve electrically driven pump is cut off while delivery pipeline is open to feed fuel by compressed air from hydropneumatic accumulator via fuel line and nozzle (or high-pressure line) under test and drained into tank unless preset final pressure in said accumulator is reached. Duration of pressure drop from initial to final magnitudes is measured by stop-watch.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination.
