FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method involves separation of mixtures in distillation columns forming in-series connected and installed sections, in each of which a heavy component of gas mixture in the form of liquid is extracted below contact space in a cube equipped with a submersible evaporator and supplied by means of exciting pressure difference to contact space of the next section. A light component of gas mixture is extracted in the form of gas above contact space in condenser sections, each of which is arranged in a cavity of cooling medium obtained from working medium in high and low pressure cycle. Impulsive pressure difference is created by provision of a heat exchange surface of the condenser in each next section that is more than surface of the previous section by 1.1…1.5 times, as well as by the change of the flow rate of gaseous working medium supplied through submersible evaporators and by changing the working body and changing intensity of heat flows in submersible evaporators of cubes owing to supplying gaseous low-pressure working medium. Pressure of gaseous working medium is maintained in the range of 20 to 80% of critical pressure level of the working medium.
