SUBSTANCE: in a light-emitting diode lamp base, having a dielectric hollow housing with a screw surface, a power supply unit built into the housing, a central contact and leads, the outer side of the housing has the shape of a ring of a gear wheel with a perforation in its wall. The end portion of the housing bearing the central contact has a perforation in its wall. On the inner side, the wall of the housing has a groove/protrusion for connecting with a reciprocal protrusion/groove in the body of the lamp.

EFFECT: longer service life of the light-emitting diode lamp base and electric bulb socket.
