FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in electric bulb socket containing a split housing with a hole for installation of electric bulb base and an opening for cable entry, an embedded part with side and central electric contacts; in the embedded part there is a channel for installation of a replaceable fuse which can be connected to the central electric contact by its one end. The channel is made in protrusion having a shape of flattened cone with top oriented towards the hole for installation of electric bulb base. The embedded part is equipped with a device that protects the fuse from falling out. This device is made as a spring ball that partially comes into the channel. The device that protects the fuse from falling out is made as a permanent magnet element.
EFFECT: improving protective functions of electric bulb sockets, widening their assortment.
