SUBSTANCE: in the electric bulb base, having a dielectric hollow housing with a screw surface and an end portion bearing a central contact and leads, the end portion lies inside the housing. At least one hole is made in the wall of the end portion. The invention simplifies the technique of making an electric bulb base.
EFFECT: reduced size of the electric bulb.
