FIELD: storage reservoirs.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to floating-coat reservoirs intended to keep fluids, for example oil and oil products. Reservoir floating cover comprises a ballast flow-type support representing a cylinder. Hole for ballast to be fed into and drained from the said ballast cylinder is arranged above the cover level. Hollow sectional boxes of circular peripheral float are densely packed by detachable blocks of foamed polymer material, e.g. polyurethane foam.
EFFECT: higher safety and reliability, normal operation of floating coat in puncture of cover or sectional hollow box.
