SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tanks for technological operations with oil and oil products, equipped with floating block coating, completely covering liquid surface with sealed units and perimeter stopper. On the coating of the tank along the perimeter closely to perimeter stopper there is a fixed annular section box with packed granulated cellular glass, top part of which is reticulate and is higher than the perimeter of the gate and faces it, and foam glass is in sealed packages made from low-melting oil-and-petrol resistant material, upon that annular box, that is a carrier of packaged foam glass for automatic extinguishing of the flame in the center of ignition, is also a ring of strength and guard barrier for liquid discharge and for fire-fighting foam.

EFFECT: technical result of device is increased efficiency of fire extinguishing, high strength of coating and reduced area of contamination of the flammable liquid coating.
