METHOD FOR COMPLETION OF HORIZONTAL WELL OF SMALL DIAMETER Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC E21B33/16 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves drilling of a well by a bit with diameter of 144-155.6 mm. At that at the end of the production string with nominal diameter of 102-114 mm a baffle plate, strata cutting packer and stage cementing collar are installed; the production string is ran-in into a horizontal part of the well; the plug is installed into the baffle plate by mud circulation; then pressure in the production string is increased till the cutting packer and thereafter holes of the stage cementing collar are open; 2-4 m³ of drill mud are pumped at pressure of 8-11 MPa and flow rate of 10-15 l/s; flush mud containing 1-3% of surface-active substance is pumped in volume of 3-10 m³ at pressure of 6-8 MPa and flow rate of 5-10 l/s; then calculated volume of cement grout is pumped at pressure of 6 - 10 MPa and flow rate of 5-10 l/s; by displacing liquid the by-pass plug is displaced till setting of the stage cementing collar and closure of its apertures at pressure from 6 up to 14 MPa and flow rate of 5-10 l/s; then pressure is vented and a check is made to prove unavailability of a drain in tubular annulus; then waiting on cement hold is made, the baffle plate, strata cutting packer and stage cementing collar are drilled out and the well is developed.

EFFECT: cementing of the horizontal production string of small diameter.
